Sept 2006 Nicky returned to competitive flying after her accident early in the year to take the womens podium at the British Paragliding Open in Àger, Spain. This was a substantial acheivement for Nicky who had suffered a crisis of confidence and was on the verge of giving up paragliding. Much of the credit for her comeback must go to Steve Ward of Maximum Potential UK (www.maximumpotentialuk.com) who has been coaching Nicky throughout the summer.
Jan 2006 Nicky broke the site Distance during the Killarney Classic 2006. After achieving a flight of 104km she was forced to land before 4pm due to airspace restrictions. The local Warwick Daily News reported that not only had the record been 'taken by a pom - but a Sheila as well....'
May 2005 Nicky broke the British Out & Return Distance record during the Polish Open in Pieve D'Alpago in Italy. The flight of 65.6km has been ratified as a GB record.
Jan 2005 'England Expects' won the team event & Aus$2000 of the Manilla XC Open in NSW, Australia. The team of 4 was Steve Ham, Mark Graham, Paul Russell & Nicky Moss.
