The only flying I have been doing this summer was in one of these! During the first task of the Nordic Open in Piedrahita I was coming in to land in strong gusty conditions when 20m from the ground I was gust stalled. Gravity may suck but its the stopping that hurts! Anyway after a very proficient rescue courtesy of Vicky our comp paramedic and the Spanish fire brigade, a few days in Avila hospital & 2 months in a body brace I'm well on the road to recovery. Hopefully I'll be able to test how well everything has healed over the next week or so flying in France and at home in Àger and Berga, before the British Open in St Andre.
