Its all very pretty, but this is the Mediterranean coast in Springtime not the Alps in winter!Mediterranean forests aren't designed for this stuff; the destruction is incredible - probably half the trees are decapitated from the weight of the snow and a small corner of my house is missing after the top of a pine tree fell on it.
Life in La Floresta is always an adventure but never before of the avalanche risk variety!
