That'll learn me!

All the scurrying around that I've done the last 2 days has taken its revenge today. I woke up unable to walk with a severe pain in my right foot. It seems that age is catching up with me faster than my brain is prepared to allow it. I can't even go out for a walk without sufferring side-effects! :-(
According to the medics here I have an inflammed plantar fascia ( its the connecting bit of stringy stuff between the heel and toes) probably caused by far too much walking with an already dodgy knee ligament. It seems that here in the US of A only lunatics ( or 'tourons' as i just heard them described = tourist morons) decide to explore a whole city on foot!
So, i'm confined to barracks with my foot in an ice bucket for today...but at least it gave me the chance to watch Tom Payne on Leonardo Live fly a brilliant 170km FAI triangle from Chamonix. An amazing flight Tom, huge congratulations!
