Àger : 'T' minus 2

Its 'meetings-day' here in Àger and a good day weather wise for sitting inside...I only realised that it was raining when the organisation 'slaves' appeared back at HQ looking like they had been for a swim fully dressed. Its only a temporary moistening today and very welcome after the heat of the last weeks. The forecast is looking great for the next days with light southerly and south-west wind, the pilots already here are getting themselves ready for some good training flights.

After a late organisation meeting last night with the local team here ( and fueled by a small jarra of vino tinto) we have a schedule for the next days mapped out - it generally involves smiling sweetly at government officials and sending Oscar, our 'jefe' of organisation, on improbable missions.
My head is close to exploding from trying to keep up to speed with a meeting, all in Catalan, in the town hall this morning - I know we have ambulance, 'bombers' and a sheep arranged but I'm not totally sure in what role they all figure! :-D

Anja arrives tonight; I am really looking forward to a proper girlie night-in! As we are both in knee braces after surgery there won't be much partying but a few bottles of vino calypso have our names firmly etched on them ;-)

Tomorrow is recovery and paperwork day while the slaves retrieve pilots from here, there and everywhere and then a training day and inscription on Saturday.
In spite of missing most of the 'organising' committee the plan is coming together, finally! :-)

What is really pleasing is the support we are getting from our partners and sponsors. Thanks to you all :-)
