At the coast at PortBou on the border between France and Spain hurricane force winds of 41.6m/s (150km/h) were recorded closing the railwork network and the motorway as they were afraid of trucks blowing off the elevated section of road at La Jonquera.
It will hopefully all calm down today ready for a switch round to light southerly and sunshine tomorrow and another day floating around the sky :)
