Wednesday - my 'normal' Rolda routine is back but a couple of hours delayed. Its so unusual to be getting up at 7am instead of 5:30am and then having a slower breakfast and going up to the mountain at 8:30 ish. Slower mornings are much more fun!!

a paradise for paragliders - every hill is designed as a take-off!

We opted for the closer, La Tulia take-off but the blue sky disappered quickly & cloud base dropped to below us. Rain quickly followed, then sunshine, then thunder  - all weather in a few hours, a typical Rolda day but without the optimism that it would improve we decided to come back to town.
A couple of Swiss pilots decided to play the power cable lottery but after just squeaking over the closer cables didn't appear high enough to cross the 2nd set of lines - maybe they flew underneath them (it has been done before!) but Swiss sense hopefully convinced them to land on the hillside somewhere.

Just 30 minutes after arriving back there is a storm over Rolda and BIG rain!!
My work day is a reality ...
