I haven't written about Venezuela, because at the moment I can't find an appropriate way to describe the experience, other than it was enlightening ... and generally not in a positive way. Maybe with more time, distance and reflection I will write about the trip ... but maybe not!

Anyway, arriving in Ecuador was enough to put the experience behind me ... think 'Colombia with a chill-pill' !  Without exception, everyone I have met so far has been super friendly, helpful and polite. I like this place! :)
