The sky was blue not a cloud in sight, the sun was shining but it was really cold in the shadow. Its November, so as we took off from 2a Maria at Berga we expected a gentle waft around in a descending direction. Today is All Saints day - a traditional holiday in Spain & boy, were those saints looking out for us. The combined forces of the saints of sunshine and thermals gave us one of the most enjoyable flights I've had from this site. Flying together with the Berga Chicas, Bea & Laura we had the best fun soaring the rocks faces at launch with the vultures waiting for a thermal & then zooming (or Zulu'ing in Laura's case) up at rates up to 5.6m/s!!! The thermals were small & tight like spring BUT its NOVEMBER!
This is all very silly, but looks set to continue over the next few days. I know i keep saying it, but i REALLY HOPE winter stays like this!
