I've had a few days here in Manilla getting my stuff sorted out and flying ' home' territory before going to Queensland in the morning to join the crew from Discovery Channel 'Animal Planet'. Its early in the season with only a handful of local pilots about so the wildlife is pretty relaxed about activity on launch. Its such an amazing experience when the roo's bounce across launch just metres away!The real reason behind this short trip is making a documentary programme of the attack by a pair of wedge tail eagles that happened to me back in January. I'll be meeting a pair of wedgies face-to-face and finding out what makes then tick... hopefully they will 'play nice' this time. More over the coming week........
