Its all a bit random! Practice day today and I spent the morning on launch trying to work out how its gonna work out this week. The new launch is quite small for the number of pilots here and the wind hasn't really been playing nice these past few days. In fact there hasn't been any wind apart from the Brisa Pacifico which blows through like a hoolie each afternoon.
Launching 70-ish pilots today took 2 hours...I'm not entirely sure whats going to happen with 140 but the challenge of being the Technical Director is I need to work out what to do!
Lots of madness & mayhem at inscripcion including the mayor of Roldanillo saying to the assembled pilots how pleased he was that Mickey Mouse had come all the way from Spain to direct the event!
This was followed by us being locked out of the finca we were meant to be staying in at 10:30pm when we were all desperate to sleep before the 07:30 journey to launch...Its all fun & games in my world!
The sign above is on the entry door to the HQ building - Any suggestions for what exactly a 'paraninfo' is will be treated in confidence!! ;-)

Here we were looking for the meaning of the word PARANINFO, and it comes from the anscient Greece, and it means a place very important for public meetings located at the universities.
So now we know that does not have anything related with Paramilitars or somethink like that.
