The Womens Paragliding Association was 'officially' born today at 20:50(cet). After the Inaugral Assembly conducted through Skype we are all having a celebratory glass or 2 of wine 'virtually' together despite our geographical seperation :-)We are now a legal entity working to bring female paraglider pilots from as many nations as possible together for the 1st Womens Open paragliding competition in Àger in August.
Klaudia takes on the role of 'el Presidente', without her initial idea and enthusiasm none of this would have started. The money management (when we have any to manage ;-) ) is in the capable hands of Anja.
We are all working hard but its finally starting to feel 'real' now that we are an official legal association and in Switzerland no less. I never thought I'd ever have a Swiss bank account!
