Day 2: task 0

Another rainy night, another rainy morning (and another great foto from Leo's collection). The 8:30 start became 10:00, became 11:00 and as a storm hit town the task was cancelled. I did get as far as taking my glider for a walk to briefing which is an improvement on previous days!
The Italian team had decided on optimism over experience and went to launch where they are currently sitting in the rain waiting for an opportunity to present itself for a flydown.
Another day of coffee, chat and laziness begins.... though I am going to try to find the little known caipirinha tree amongst all the tropical vegetation in the central park here in Poços ;-)
A bit of a wander around town and some lunch later the sky clearer and we went FLYING!! :-)
It wasn't anything epic but a fun waft around in smooth conditions with big clouds looming from every direction and cloudbase over on the north about 200m lower than the south launch. She flies :-)))
