I woke up this morning with a scorpion on my pillow - not my favourite species of waking-up partner!! :-(
I am now back in Laragne after running the gauntlet of the weekend warriors in their Fiat Punto's on the Italian Autostrada yesterday ;-) The day started with 32degrees celcius sunshine in Kobarid, then massive afternoon thunderstorms and hail in Torino and evening snow over the Mongenevre pass into Briançon! ALL the seasons in one 9 hour journey!
As we said our goodbyes yesterday morning after the Nationals I was very tempted to ' stowaway' in the back of Mark Haymans camper and sneak to Greece with all the guys going over to World Cup but the Spanish Championships start in Àger on Saturday, though the weather in the Peninsula looks less than exciting for the next days with lots of rain and wind :-(
Its time to go home and do my laundry before the next adventure.....
