A 72km race around the valley followed by over the back to Abella de la Conca and then goal at the chiringuito by the lake. I had intended to go flying today but in the rush to get out of the bus i snagged my knee brace on the seat and fell out twisting my knee again. It seems that paragliding is the least dangerous thing I do just now. I'm getting a bit fed up.66 pilots in goal with Wilfred winning the day.
The photo above is Felix Rodriguez learning how to launch an R10.2 after providing an involuntary acro display on launch yesterday. The master of acro was dumped on his ass from a great height on his first attempt but after some unrepeatable words soon got the beastie under strict control ;-)
The place has gone mad today for the Sant Joan holidays - kids as young as 3 or 4 are throwing fireworks at anything that moves. There's a bonfire in town tonight and for sure there will be far too much noise to sleep.
Tomorrow looks like a good day so we expect a big task - probably to Berga or beyond.
