Thanks to everyone who sent so very many good wishes. All the texts and emails were really appreciated. The arthroscopy went well, though not entirely as planned, but because of that I am now able to intermittently shuffle around slowly wearing a very glamorous elastic stocking from my toes to my thigh! :-D
Thankfully the hospital has wifi so I'm not quite as cranky as I might be!
