Wayheyyyy!!! They did it!
Scott has been working with the birds now for 3 1/2 weeks but when we spoke on Saturday it was with big excitement and some small trepidation that he was contemplating the first flights.
What would Heckel and Jeckle actually do when given their freedom...? There is lots of interesting and tasty stuff, for a hawk all around the Berga hills and it was entirely possible that they would make a bid for freedom.
Thankfully the birds realise that having an easy life with Isca and Scott doing the 'hunting' to bring them their gourmet mice and tasty treats is preferable to actually going DIY.
