The Legend of the Thunderbird is now on-air in Canada and the US.
I had the best time working with Francis and Steve in California - Francis' is blogging on the Beast Legends site. The sketches he made while we were together flying in Monterey and at the Condor Sanctuary are here
Francis made the above comic-strip of the Wedge-tail Eagle attack I experienced in Australia in 2007. We were being sandblasted and desicated while he learnt the art of 'parawaiting' on the Sand City dunes. This is one cool guy - it was hellish windy and very hot but he just got out his sketchbook and watercolours and started drawing.....
After a looonnngggg time sitting around doing not much at all we were able to have a float around the sky and give Francis his first experience of flying like a killer bird!
