Sunrise this morning in Rolda
We are trying to make some new and interesting tasks this week in preperation for SuperFinal. The conditions are so different from the last 5 years that there are new opportunities opening up day by day, No day seems like the previous one which is a new challenge :)
Usually we sit in cloud for an hour or so on launch waiting for the backwind to go and base to lift, but this year base is high at 8am and the thermals are strong onto the start place by 11am!
Its been fun to be able to exend the flying area early in the day to give options whether pilots want to stay close in the strong rougher mountains or go for the calmer but sometimes a bit slower valley routes.

Today was a shorter but technical task with various valley crossings before a goal at Zarzal. So far it seems that about 15 made goal with 2013 X Alps competitor, Stephan Haase in first.

Download is going on now ... more later.
child labour ;)
