The year started very quietly doing laundry & repacking before the Main event of 2013, SuperFinal in Roldanillo.

Arriving in Colombia later than ideal its been a very hectic 2 days.  I have been running around Valle Del Cauca trying to find goal fields ( last years are under 3m of sugar cane!), find somewhere to stay that doesn't have a resident cockeral who starts shouting at 3am and only stops when the buses start trundelling by to maintain the decibel level, and do lots of grovelling and hand-shaking with the military brass to get permission to land at the various airports, breach their airspace and generally ensure that we are the support of the guys with real power in this country ... the government & civil authorities might think they are the power here but in reality its the military who control what we do and where we do it!
Fortunately, we seem to be generating alot of support at very high levels and gates that previously were firmly locked shut have been opened to allow us to land inside Military barracks and on previously restricted airfields.

Today we start registration for the Roldanillo Open ... heres hoping for the fantastic conditions to continue for the rest of the month!
