Campeonato de España, Àger

Another comp another country but this time its home territory for me :-)
The Spanish Championships starts today in Àger, but true to most events this season its not exactly flyable.
The sun is shining, the sky is very very blue but the tramuntana is howling from France so we are still on a standby to nothing waiting for another briefing at 14:00. (edit: The day was cancelled at 14:00. The wind did drop briefly to 33kph but has been up to 47kph at times from the north)
Everything is very chilled in true Spanish fashion. Last night after registration the mandatory pilot briefing BEGAN at 22:00, by the time I left at 00:25 the ' introduction to the area" briefing was still going on!
Highlight or rather lowlight of my day was flushing my cell phone down the toilet! So please, if I should have your number please email me since my phone is probably swimming towards the Mediterranean right now.

Assuming its not flyable I am off to the hospital to have my increasingly unstable knee scanned - I am scared. Jordi has lent me a very hi-tec knee brace so I'm now 'robo-niky' according to the guys here, its making walking easier and will mean I can launch/fly/land hopefully without doing too much extra damage but I guess I have to face facts; I know they will want to operate and I am just delaying the inevitable :-(((
