Autumn in Àger

I finally recovered enough to contemplate the drive over to Àger on Friday to meet up with Judith and Geoff and start trying to organise the rest of my life.  Though still sleeping in my tent wasn't part of the master-plan!
The flying yesterday was beautiful with cloudbase below launch so we were flying alongside, above, in and very occasionally under the clouds. At times the ground / ridge disappeared completely to reappear somewhere you just didn't expect ;-)

A Fat Back!

The funny-moment of the day was on launch when a very small boy commented to his dad that the paraglider lady had a very "fat back" - so much for thinking my harness was actually quite slinky! ;-)
Today dawned bright and sunny with not a single cloud visible in the valley but in contrast, there was a sea of clouds throughout the entire area of the llanos to the south, punctured by a CuNim close to Barcelona... visibility into the high Pyrenees was incredible but most amazing was watching snow fall in the mountains of Boi-Taüll. The snow line is down to 1200m in the mountains - it was CccccOLD!
Unfortunately the north wind blew all day so no flying for us :(
